The School Council aim to meet regularly with Mrs Cordingley. Our meetings are child led with our main points of discussion being what each class has enjoyed learning throughout the week. We also discuss ways to make our learning experiences even better and often consider ways of raising money for charity.

Our latest idea at school council was to hold The Great Motcombe Bake Off in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. We had lots of amazing entries and we raised an amazing £301.21p.

Quotes from recent school council meetings (October 2016):

"We've been enjoying complicated maths" - Year 5

"I've been enjoying PE. I like the matches" - Year 6

"I've been enjoying looking at different rocks. We've been dropping them from shoulder height and dropping them in water and seeing what happens" - Year 4

"I've been enjoying Autumn Yoga" - Year 1 and 2
