NSPCC Net Aware social media guide for parents

The NSPCC has launched an updated Net Aware site for parents and carers. The site includes: tips showing how to help your child block or report someone targeting them; a guide to 39 of the most popular social media sites, apps and games used by children and young people including information about new apps like Pokemon Go, Periscope, IMVU, and Live.ly. You can sign up for newsletters which relate specifically to the ages of your children. It also provides a link to Let's keep kids safe online a joint publication by the NSPCC and O2.

March 18th  is National CSE Awareness Day

 

The National Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day aims to highlight the issues surrounding CSE, encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to adults developing inappropriate relationships with children or children developing inappropriate relationships with other children.
