Miss Kendrick's Leavers Speech (The full Version!)
These children, to me, are bright shining stars,
And I know that each and every one will go far.
Frankie, what will I do without your jazz hands?
You laugh at my jokes, you're like my biggest fan!
Max Pinder, I'm sorry that in Weymouth I sank your kayak,
You've shown us all that there's always something to smile at.
Matilda, you're confident and fairly loud,
Please go forth and make me feel proud.
Felix there is no one on the planet that knows more about cats,
You'll have plenty of your own soon - I'm sure of that!
Ashton, you're always honest with me,
You'll be something successful like a politician, it's clear to see.
Nelson, you are incredibly talented at sport,
And one of the most sporty children that I've ever taught.
Katie, you have always been the perfect student,
You make the most of every single moment.
Tom, you are so talented at art,
It makes me sad that now we have to part.
Radha, you really are rather clever,
I hope you remember the laughs we've had forever.
Oliver, you are such an incredible boy,
For a very long time, you've brought me so much joy.
Charlotte Berry, what can I possibly say?
For four whole years you've brightened my day!
Arthur, I adore your cheeky laugh,
You are so well liked by all of the staff.
Lizzie, you have become very mature,
It makes me sad that I won't see you any more.
Eliza, you are the ultimate story writer,
Your future couldn't be any brighter.
Oscar you're a real life action man,
If you can't lead an army, no one can!
Aimee, you are always so cool and calm,
You would never hurt a fly or cause anyone any harm.
Zander, you are a super-cool rapper of hip hip,
Your laughter and humour will take you to the top.
Max McCall, when you arrived you settled so well,
You will be amazing at secondary school, I just can tell.
Joe, your stories transport me to a magical land,
If your friends need your help, you always lend a hand.
Jack, you're bonkers and oh so happy,
At your next school, please make sure your homework's not scrappy!
Grace, I certainly know when you're in the room,
You always manage to get rid of any gloom.
Kai, I'm so incredibly proud of how far you've come,
With you in my lessons, I could never be glum.
Alfie, I can't wait to hear about the adventures you go on,
I think you'll explore the world before you're twenty-one!
After 4 long years, your parents can't wait to see the back of me,
However, it feels like we're one big family.
I know you'll all be fine at secondary school,
Because let's be honest, you're all super cool.
But when you are older and Motcombe life is long in the past,
I really hope that the memories we have made will last.
Weymouth Day 3...
Today has been a scorcher! We have all been out in the bay in a power boat, learnt to sail as a team and rock-hopped up 'Mount Chesil'. To top it off, we also explored the sculpture park at Portland.
I have managed to wear them all out... fingers crossed for a third peaceful night!
Weymouth Day 2...
After a peaceful night, our day began with a fantastic cooked breakfast!
We then hit the beach for a sand sculpture competition and to battle the seagulls for our lunch!!
This afternoon, half of the group abseiled off a cliff and the other half went kayaking in the beautiful sunshine.
The weather is glorious and the children are having a great time.

Weymouth Day 1...
We have arrived safely in Weymouth! The children have checked in to their guesthouses, enjoyed lunch on the beach and had a fantastic afternoon of climbing! The sun is out and the children are all smiling! I am currently experiencing technical difficulties in uploading photos to the website but will try again later in the week so that you can see what a great time we are all having!
Enjoy a peaceful night at home...
